After only minutes of talking with Ellen I could tell she was a special lady – I could feel her smile and positive energy. We laughed a lot, and she shared stories about her life, but we mostly talked about her family, her kids, grandkids and other loved ones. She was so proud of her family and I loved listening to her words of wisdom – she reminded me a lot of my own grandmother. Although I only knew Ellen during her last few months, like most who had the pleasure of meeting her, I felt an instant connection.
